The simulator looks different on my phone

The simulator approximates real-camera behaviour using pre-rendered scenes. Tiny differences are expected; the cause-and-effect (drag aperture wider → background softens) is what we're teaching, not pixel-perfect emulation.

My camera isn't Canon, Nikon, Sony, or Fujifilm

Pick "Other / Not sure yet" in onboarding. You'll get the universal mode-dial guidance — every concept still applies; only the brand-specific button names are skipped.

I'm not getting the daily challenge notification

Check your notification settings in iOS Settings → Notifications → Simple Photographer 101, or Android Settings → Apps → Simple Photographer 101. Notifications need to be allowed.

I have a feature request

Send the idea — if it matches the core teaching mission, it might ship. If it doesn't, it might become a new app in the SimpleApps catalog.
