Common issues

The Form Companion isn't detecting my reps
Three things to check: (1) Phone at roughly hip height — lean it on a chair, couch, or backpack. (2) Your full body needs to be visible in frame, toes to head, side angle. (3) Even, indoor lighting works best. The companion is a v1.5 feature; if you don't see it in the app yet, you're on an earlier build.
I missed a week — what happens to my streak?
Your streak auto-freezes on rest days, and you have 2 freezes per month for any other day. If you miss more than that, Simple Gym offers a silent welcome-back with a 50% restart — no penalty, no shame. You can also tap your streak chip → 'Start fresh' at any time to reset on your own terms.
I want to switch programs without losing progress
Open the program you're on (Programs → your active program) → tap the ⋯ overflow → 'End program' → confirm. Your streak stays. Past sessions stay in Calendar. Your previous program drops into PAST PROGRAMS so you can restart it later from Day 1.
I want to delete my account
Open the app → Profile → Account → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. If you only have local data (no sync account), deleting the app is enough — nothing leaves your device.
I have a feature request
Send the idea — if it matches the core mission (calm, bodyweight-first, no shame), it might ship. If it doesn't, it might become a new app in the SimpleApps catalog.
