Simple Reminder Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Simple Reminder mobile app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Simple Reminder is operated by SimpleApps via simpleapps.ai.
1. What we collect
Simple Reminder works offline by default. When used without an account, no reminder content ever leaves your device. If you create an account for cross-device sync, we collect only what is necessary to operate the service: email address, encrypted reminder content (used for sync only), basic device metadata, and anonymous crash reports if enabled in your OS settings.
2. Waitlist & marketing emails
If you sign up for the waitlist on this page, we store your email address and use it ONLY to notify you when the app launches. If you also tick the marketing-opt-in checkbox, your email is added to the SimpleApps mailing list for occasional updates about other SimpleApps products. The two consents are independent — the first is required to be on the waitlist, the second is always optional. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can request full deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].
3. What we don't do
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers. We do not use third-party analytics that track individual users. We do not read or scan reminder content for advertising or AI training.
4. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask for it to be deleted, or permanently close your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. Account deletion is immediate and irreversible.
5. Data retention
When you delete a reminder, it is removed from our sync servers within 30 days. When you delete your account, all associated data is removed immediately.
6. Children
Simple Reminder is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
