This policy explains what information the Reminder mobile app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Reminder is operated by SimpleApps (“SimpleApps”) via simpleapps.ai.

1. What we collect

Reminder works offline by default. When used without an account, no reminder content ever leaves your device. If you create an account for cross-device sync, we collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

Email address (for account recovery and verification).
Encrypted reminder content (used for sync only, never read in plaintext).
Basic device metadata: OS version, app version, and a random device identifier.
Anonymous crash reports, if you have them enabled in your OS settings.

2. What we don't do

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers.
We do not use third-party analytics that track individual users.
We do not read or scan reminder content for advertising or AI training.

3. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask for it to be deleted, or permanently close your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. Account deletion is immediate and irreversible.

4. Data retention

When you delete a reminder, it is removed from our sync servers within 30 days. When you delete your account, all associated data is removed immediately.

5. Children

Reminder is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
